All Eyes on Georgia

Our work is not done. Two critical Senate run-off races take place in Georgia in early January. The outcome of those races will determine who has control of the U.S. Senate, which in turn will determine the amount of power the Biden/Harris administration will have to implement policy. Simply put, these are must-win races.

To that end, we will be following the lead of groups already on the ground in Georgia who know the voters and the lay of the land. We’re donating resources to the Asian American Advocacy Fund, which launched the Asians for Ossoff & Warnock campaign, and encourage you to do the same.

Home Stretch

We're doing one last fundraiser. We’re looking forward to providing you with an update on what we've been doing with all of our time and all of the money we've raised thus far — and how you can help us to maximize the value of what we've made. Our creative team will show some of the video and display ads we've been producing and we’ll talk about our plan for this final week of the election.

Daniel Dae Kim’s Voting Challenge

In the past 20 years, the Asian American electorate has grown by 139%! We are 11 million strong. But, our voter turnout has historically been low. In 2016, only 49% of us voted.

We have the numbers to make a difference and to swing states in this election. Reach out to your family and friends and let them know their vote matters.

At our event in September, Daniel Dae Kim issued a voting challenge. Get your family members who usually don’t vote to the polls. Tell your story and share a photo. He’ll retweet you. Let’s get out our vote!

The New Blue Wave

On September 21, 2020 we held a fundraising event featuring Andrew Yang, former Democratic presidential candidate, in conversation with author Min Jin Lee and actor Daniel Dae Kim.

We also heard from Reps. Ro Khanna (CA), Grace Meng (NY), Pramila Japayal (WA), Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA), and musical guest Thao Nguyen (Thao & The Get Down Stay Down).

Proceeds fund our Asian language outreach campaigns in battleground states, including Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Arizona.

If you missed it, or just want to relive some of the moments, here is the entire event.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal addressed Asian Americans and urged us to get involved and make our voices heard.
